Twiki pioneered the concept of a structured wiki.
Wagn
Wagn is an impressive, innovative wiki engine, but a few things make it not work for all of our purposes. AFAICT, "inclusion" doesn't allow you to include "immutable" (or anonymous) cards within a card, since all cards are referenced by name. Because of this, truly forking a page with included elements is much more difficult. Also, there seems to be less enforcement of data structure, which means that programmers trying to make interactive wiki pages will have more difficulties because they won't be able to make certain assumptions about the data.
It would be nice, though, if somebody could become familiar enough with Wagn to verify that the statements above are actually true :) [garrison]
